2018 Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept and Release Date

2018 Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept is new possibility on the market when it comes to hydrogen cars, especially looking into the fuel cell and battery driving efficiency. This sporsty and not too aggressive model has a simple exterior and technologically advanced interior. This model is made of lighter materials and it provides higher safety and incredible performance on the road. With great engine power and solar energy use, this car has a huge potential to become our reality in the next few years.



When it comes to exterior of this model, it is very smooth, but it leaves an impression of dynamic and a little aggressiveness as well. One of the most important components is the aerodynamics. It comes with a big front grille and authentical Audi logo sign. Interestingly, it does not have side mirrors. This model replaced them with side cameras that will improve the aerodynamics and gives an interesting non standard look. It has with 2 sets of front lights: high resolution LED Matrix headlights and organic LED bottom signature lights.



The interior of the car emphasizes space and comfort. It comes with a few interesting details. First is the wrist cushion when controlling the panel and using the touch screen. It also comes with touch screens for each of the passenger in the backseats who can share their information with the driver. It has 4LTE internet connection and all current information about the temperature, location, weather ect. This model comes with pilot driving functions that include camera, laser and radar sensors. Back seat section provides enough leg room and space for comfortable driving experience. Cargo space is very big as well.

Engine and Characteristics

As a Q6 model, 2018 Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept will have a few power train options, including fuel cells and 100 kW battery pack. This model would reach its maximum speed at 124 mph and acceleration time for 60 mph in 7 seconds. This model would also run on solar energy. Using the solar roof, it would increase its performance to 620 miles without charging the battery.

Since Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept is a hydrogen car and right now, technology is not developed enough to be able to produce this model. This futuristic idea might come to reality in the next decade or so. Even though there are no indications this model will ever be available, it still has been presented at 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
