2019 Hummer H1 is an old car under the new name, made by the new manufacturer, but with the memory of old cars as we know. To be more confused, the popular vehicle is made in the new factory because the old manufacturer does not want to make new models again. Let’s recall the old Hummer, it has been made in GM until 2010, when that manufacturer simply stopped with producing, but without the plan how that brand will be produced in the future. So, buyers who loved Hummer simply had no chances to see again their lovely car. However, three visionaries Bob Lutz, Gilbert Villarreal and Henrik Fisker, owners of VLF Automotives, started with the production of these models in China, preparing them for China market only.
There are no many changes and differences between 2019 Hummer H1 and old models made in the US. The reason is quite obvious, they wanted to remain recognizable features to attract old buyers, but also the new ones who can be interested in great large vehicles as Hummer always been. It still has its recognizable massive front end with wide grille separated on small cells with largely rounded lights on the sides. The car is still rough and boxy, prepared for rough terrain and military usage. However, the material is lightweight made of modern raw materials, so the car can beat up many new trucks on the market.
2019 Hummer H1 will be a powerful and strong machine as always, thanks to 6.5-liter offered in three versions and the fourth option known under code name LS3 V8 for those who want a strong engine but will less fuel consumption. The average strength of these engines is 430 horsepower and 424 pound-feet of torque. However, those three options that we mentioned above are represented as three trim versions – Bravo, Charlie, and Delta. Time will say how those versions will show on the road and driving tests.
2019 Hummer H1 Release Date and Price
Production of 2019 Hummer H1 brings confusions, but after we explained all about those things sounds much more logical. However, the main reason why VLF needed to make this version of the known vehicle and call it Humvee and not Hummer is a problem with trademark and protected name of the car. Apparently, original manufacturer Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturer Act in the US has not officially stopped with production, so nobody else can produce the same vehicle. VLF simply found a better way, to produce the similar car but with the slightly changed name.
