As it appears, Nissan is getting a huge refresh among its models and especially Altima. The 2018 Nissan Altima is on the market many years as a midsized sedan. This edition will not be any different and it will remain the similar size as the previous model. Although it is only a midsized car, it certainly has it’s benefits and customers. Suitable for longer trips as the commuting to work or even driving through the city, the new Altima is probably going to fit most of the buyers.
The 2018 Nissan Altima is the fifth model of Altima and it came as a redesigned 2018 Altima. This car belongs to the midsize vehicle segment and it is made to achieve what is harder for smaller cars – the roadtrip. It is a five door sedan that will be capable of carrying five members of a family eager to travel by their own car to the faraway places. Redesigned headlights and rear lights are present, so are some new details on the car body. The pair of fog lamps are available depending on the trim level.
Having to sit inside the 2018 Nissan Altima, we saw very roomy boot and right enough space for all the passengers. Front seats are amazingly comfortable, so are the back seats, although the back seats are a little stiffer and the thoughts are they are not that much comfy as the front seats. Newly designed dashboard with little bigger wheel with audio controls built in are the first thing you can see while getting inside. Bluetooth connection and USB ports are present as well, but it depends on the trim level of customers choice.
The engine choice by Nissan is going to be a four cylinder 2.5 liter but Nissan could also offer a V6 3.5 liter engine. The four cylinder engine will generate 182 horsepower and about 180 lb-ft of torque while the six cylinder engine be capable of producing 270 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. The gas mileage will have to be better than previous model’s 38 mpg, so we are assuming it will be at least 40 mpg. The 0-60 will be done in 7 seconds (+- 0,5 seconds) with both engines, but the stronger’s high speed will be higher.
2018 Nissan Altima Release Date and Price
If the 2018 Nissan Altima won’t be introduced in late 2017, we are waiting it in early 2018 by the price of around $22,000 to even $30,000 for the more powerful engine option.
