2017 Buick Grand National Redesign and Changes
Posted on by
2017 Buick Grand National is quite opposite of what Buick have represented during the eighties. In 1980’s Buick was a synonym for fast and quick cars. In 1984. Buick was even faster than the Chevrolet’s two-seater in a quater-mile race. How the time was passing by, Buick has grown into a full-sized sedan. The 2017 Buick Grand National was born.
2017 Buick Grand National’s Interior and Exterior
The new 2017 Buick Grand National is a sedan and has a rear-wheel drive. When a new model is revealed, probably something in its interior is changed. So it’s done this time as well. The previous model had a design of a sports car, but this beauty is all about family. It is a nice and big sedan which can fit whole family in a jiffy. Although the redesigned model is a family car, it does look aggressive and stylish on the road. There is a large grille in the front divided into more than ten vertical compartments. On the middle of the hood, there is an air intake which is a great solution for cooling the powerful engine built into the 2017 Buick Grand National. As it is smartly designed, it is not blocking the driver’s view of the road ahead. Of course there are headlights on both sides of the car and although they appear small, they work as they should do. There are couple of fog light built below the headlights. At the rear end, there is a stylish and discrete spoiler. The wheels are nice and big and are coming with 18-inch or 19-inch aluminum rims, depending on the trim level.
Interior is a specialty for Buick and only the top quality materials are designed for the interior. There are front and back cameras, touch screen displays, USB ports, bluetooth connectivity and all tyoe of modern gadgets.
2017 Buick Grand National offers couple engine options: a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4 that is providing 275 horsepower or a 3.6-liter V-6 that generates 320 horsepower. There is a speculation that there is going to be mounted a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6 with whole 400 horse power as well. The transmission is probably going to be automatic.
