2017 Acura NSX Review
Posted on by
2017 Acura NSX will be released as a second generation of NSX vehicles. With upgrades in terms of design and performances, it is expected for this car to be available for customers in the late 2016.
Exterior and Interior
The body of Acura NSX will be composed of aluminum and Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), which will result in substantial weight loss. The floor and the roof will be made of carbon-fiber, while the chassic will be built of aluminum and high-strength steel. Weight loss, along with aerodynamic features of exterior will lead to improved fuel efficiency and engine performances of 2017 Acura NSX. When it comes to design, there will be some minor changes of front and rear fascia, such as larger ait intakes and rear wing.
Inside of the cabin of Acura NSX won’t have plenty of accents, but it will create a sense of luxury and comfort. Only premium soft touch materials will be used for upholstering, including leather. The cabin will be stuffed by various high tech gadgets that are appropriate for 2017 model. On the dashboard 7.0 inches touch screen will be mounted, as well as instrument panel with analog and digital figures. As of infotainment system, we might expect audio system with eight speakers, radio, CD player, navigation system and many more. All standard safety features will be included as well.
It is expected for 2017 Acura NSX to be powered by a 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. This engine has capacity to deliver amazing 500 hp and 406 lb+ft of torque. This vehicle will be supplied by Sport Hybrid Super Handling-All-Wheel Drive system with overall power of 573 hp and 476 lb-ft. This means that there will be even three electric engines powered by a lithium-ion battery. One electric engine will send power to the rear wheels, while other two will provide power to the front wheels. The brakes will have Brembo steel discs. The engine will be mated to a nine speed dual clutch transmission and AWD.
The acceleration rate of 2017 Acura NSX is fantastic 3.0 seconds. This vehicle can develop maximum speed of 191 mph. EPA ratings are about to be released after all the tests will be performed.
The official release date of Acura NSX is so far unveiled, but we believe that this car will hit the market either in the late 2016 or sometime in the beginning of 2017. The price won’t be acceptable for wide range of customers, since it is expected to range between $150,000 and $200,000, but still this is more affordable, comparing to Italian competitors.
