2016 Trans Am SE Bandit Edition Custom Making
The new 2016 Trans Am SE Bandit Edition is going to be a convertible or a coupe. The buyer will be able to choose between those two models. The base of the 2016 Trans Am SE Bandit Edition is going to be a good old Chevrolet Camaro. They look alike, indeed, but Pontiac should see the light of the day in 2015, so it will have a new technology installed in it. The Trans Am was a package for the Pontiac Firebird, but with upgraded handling, horsepower and suspension, and also with the visual modification of a hoods, spoilers, lights and wheels. Let’s just imagine how will the new look hit the new model, the 2016 Bandit Edition. More info: http://www.topspeed.com/cars/chevrolet/2016-trans-am-se-bandit-edition-ar172916.html
Release Date and Price
As we all know by now, the line of this super car is just finished, so you can now order it, and it will be custom as you wanna. The 2016 Trans Am SE Bandit Edition price is different from the model ado model, because you will tell what you wanna in your car. So price will go from $115,000, including the donor Chevrolet Camaro. Production will be limited to only 77 units and chances are this special-edition muscle car will be sold out in a matter of weeks. This is what we found on Top Speed, so we think that is the real price.
As the Trans Am Depot is tuned up Firebird, it has to be strong enough to justify the name of Trans Am. The engine is custom too so you can choose from the 3.7 liter V6 with more than 310 horsepowers. The second unit is going to be, the 5.0 V8 with about 425 horsepowers and amazing 400 lb-ft of torque. The 6.2 engine is a if you really want it. The car will hit the 60 mph in only 4 seconds with a stopping distance of 106 feet. The estimated fuel consumption is 25mpg, which is nice for car this powerful. As the engine is so powerful, the suspension and the brakes should follow the horses in power, if you know what I mean. The car suspension will know the weight of the car and will, surely, stick the vehicle to every corner driver rushes in. As we mentioned earlier in this article, the brakes will be able to fully stop the car in 106 feet if driver is going to ride this beauty only 60 mph. It is only a bit longer than the third of a football field, which is 300 feet long. Amazing, isn’t it?
What to say about the interior of this car? Well, it will have full leather seats, with perfect sized steering wheel, it is based on Camaro after all, and it is covered in smooth leather. Rear seats won’t be so comfortable as it should, but it is tuned up Firebird, isn’t it? There will be optional gps receiver (4.5 inch sized touch screen) in central console.
So, for final thoughts, Pontiac is not coming back, but you can still have new 2016 Trans Am SE Bandit Edition, and enjoy it. Yes, it is not original Pontiac, but you have to admit is freaking awesome!
